ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

JOE BETTLES

Joe Bettles, SCPA Class of 2005, is entering his senior year at UCLA in the School of Theatre, Film, and Television. Joe began his years at UCLA in the acting program, but returned to his first love, Musical Theater, after getting the lead in the annual music, "Side Show," during his sophomore year. (Joe appeared in numerous musicals during his four years at SCPA including "Music Man," "Into the Woods,"Footloose," and "Bye Bye Birdie.") Joe continued to perform during his junior year at UCLA, while pursuing his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He is looking forward to auditioning for this year's musical, "Anything Goes," which he invites the SCPA family to attend. Joe intends to pursue a career in theater after graduation in 2009.
